Current State Withholding Information

Field Description
Home Address

This row displays your home address (or mailing address if home and mailing addresses are the same).

Withholding State

This field displays your home withholding state.

Depending on how your Self-Service module is set up, you may or may not be able to edit this field. If you can, the Withholding State field contains a drop-down list from which you can select your withholding state.

If you change the state, other values on the screen are repopulated.

If the selected state is a non-withholding state, the Withholding State row displays the message: Non-Withholding State.

If you work in multiple states for your employer, the state abbreviation is removed.

Additional State Information

If you were previously exempt from paying taxes, you will see the message: "You are currently exempt from state taxes. In order to change your status, please see your Payroll Administrator."
